Privacy Policy
Starter policy for the MVP. Have counsel review before public launch.
What ShoMeE collects
We collect account email addresses, password hashes, lookup credit balances, payment records, report history, audit logs, and technical security metadata such as IP addresses and timestamps.
Lookup data
Submitted targets and generated passive OSINT reports are stored so users can access report history and exports. Do not submit targets you are not authorized to investigate.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. ShoMeE stores payment status, credit fulfillment records, and Stripe session identifiers, but does not store card numbers.
Security and abuse prevention
We use logs, email verification, rate limits, CAPTCHA/human verification when configured, and audit trails to protect the service and investigate abuse.
